This trip is more than a trek – it is an invitation to discover Nepal with open eyes and hearts.

Together with my friend Aang Gombu Sherpa, I invite you on an expedition through one of the most impressive mountain landscapes in the world – but above all into a life that exists far off the beaten track.

Our journey begins with a helicopter flight from Kathmandu to the remote mountain village of Hill – Gombu’s home and the heart of a school project ( link to project) that we launched there in 2023. You don’t get to a place like this by chance. You have to be invited. And that’s exactly what you are: invited to spend a night among the village community, visit the school, attend a traditional Sherpa dance – and capture it all with your camera and your heart.

From there, our route leads via Namche Bazar into the quiet, powerful Gokyo Valley, continuing over the Chola Pass to Everest Base Camp. Every day offers not only spectacular landscapes, but also intensive photo workshops – whether at sunrise with a view of the world’s highest peaks or during quiet encounters with the people of this region.

You don’t have to be a photographer to come along. This trip is for those who are looking for more – more depth, more authenticity, more connection. Whether you are traveling with a camera, smartphone or simply with open eyes: you are welcome to discover Nepal with us.

Because some stories can be told not only in pictures – but also in experience.
