Travel With Me

Come see it
for yourself.

Small groups. Real places. Led by someone who works at the ends of the earth, not just visits them. These are the journeys I take people on, and the ones still waiting to be made.

I don't run tours. I bring a handful of people into the places that have shaped me, and let them feel why.

For years I've photographed and guided in the polar regions and the high mountains. What I've learned is that the best moments can't be scheduled: the light that breaks for ninety seconds, the animal that surfaces when no one expects it, the village that opens its door. My job is to put you in the right place, at the right time, with the patience to wait for it.

Every journey is small, personal, and built around the experience, not the itinerary. You travel with me, and with the people and places I've come to trust.

My next micro expedition cruise into the high Arctic, this time in autumn. Low sun, first snow and quiet fjords, on a small ship toward Svalbard's rarely visited east, with a chance of the northern lights. Book before 1 May 2027 for the early expedition offer.

Journeys that filled up early.

Both journeys for 2027 are fully booked. If one of them is what you were looking for, tell me, and you'll be the first to hear when the next one opens.

The journeys
already lived.

Some of the places I've had the privilege to lead people through, and the moments that stay with me long after.

Antarctica

The continent that asks for time.

I have crossed the Drake more than sixty times, and the ice still stops me every single time. Antarctica is not a place to tick off. It asks for patience: for the hour you wait in a Zodiac until the light does what it does, for the morning you stay put because the penguins are busy, for the silence that follows a calving glacier. This is how I take people there. Twelve guests, no more. No schedule to chase, no hurry to be anywhere but here. The great white continent deserves nothing less, and neither do you.

Nepal · Himalaya

The high mountains

Sunrise over peaks that turn from grey to gold in minutes. Prayer flags against impossible blue. And in the valleys, the warmth of Sherpa villages that have become, through my friend Ang Gombu, something close to a second home. The Himalaya gives you scale and silence in equal measure.

The Alps

The mountains at my door

The range I know best, in every season and every light. From first snow on the high passes to the long golden evenings of summer, the Alps are where I test everything before I take it further afield. Close to home, and still endlessly worth photographing.

Scotland

Weather as a character

Few places change as fast or as dramatically. Mist tearing off the lochs, sudden shafts of light across the glens, a coastline that feels like the edge of something older. Scotland teaches you to love the weather you're given, because it makes the photograph.

Patagonia

The wild south

Wind that never stops, granite towers that catch fire at dawn, and a sense of distance you feel in your chest. Patagonia is raw and humbling, a landscape that asks for patience and rewards it with light you won't see anywhere else on earth.

Greenland

Ice on a scale that rewrites you.

Icebergs the size of cathedrals drifting past in silence, and light that lingers for hours because the sun refuses to set. Greenland is the Arctic at its most monumental. The fjords swallow sound, the ice moves on its own time, and the small settlements along the coast remind you that people have lived at this edge for a very long time. It is a place that makes you feel small in the best possible way.

South Pacific

Islands at the end of the map.

Rapa Nui and its silent stone faces. Robinson Crusoe Island and the hunt for a hummingbird found nowhere else on earth. The fire dancers of Papua New Guinea, and a village in Indonesia where the Asmat people welcomed us as guests. The South Pacific is less about one landscape and more about distance, culture, and the moments that only happen when you stay long enough to be trusted.

Plans are taking shape.

Beyond Svalbard, more journeys are in the making for 2028 and 2029: further safaris in Africa, and a return south to Antarctica and South Georgia. These are not bookable yet, but if one of them stirs something in you, tell me now, and you'll be the first to know when the details are ready.
